Code of Ethics
Membership is subject to such articles, bylaws, and code of ethics as established by the MCALA Board of Directors.
Members of the Association agree to comply with and be bound by the by-laws, rules, and regulations of the Association.
Members shall conduct all business transactions in a straightforward and honest manner with active knowledge of and affirmative compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations.
Members shall comply with federal, state and local fair-housing laws and not discriminate against persons because of age, race, color, religion, creed, national origin, sex, disability, sexual orientation, order of protection status, military status, unfavorable military discharge, marital status, or familial status.
Members shall respond promptly to complaints and address grievances in a fair, honest, and timely fashion.
No member shall speak for the Association without specific authority from the Board of Directors.
Violation of any of the above may constitute grounds for denial, suspension, or termination of membership in MCALA.
